 Year/Genre: 1977 / Funk

Matrix #: PD-1-6113

Condition: VG+ Looks and sounds Clean. cut cataloged corner

Description: Formed in Hamburg, Germany, Randy Pie emerged from the ashes of rock and jazz fusion outfits to craft a slick hybrid of funk, disco, and progressive rock. Fast/Forward, released in 1977, reflects the era’s dance-floor obsession while maintaining strong musicianship and experimental edge. With syncopated grooves and lush synth layers, the album embodies West Germany’s late-’70s flirtation with American funk filtered through Euro-rock sensibilities. A rare find for collectors exploring the crossover between krautrock’s fringes and danceable sophistication.
