Cultural Facts:

1. Born From Vein.fm: Fleshwater started with Anthony DiDio, Jeremy Martin and Matt Wood of hardcore band Vein.fm teaming up with vocalist and guitarist Marisa Shirar, trading technical hardcore for blown-out guitars and melody.
2. Half Studio, Half Home Recording: The instruments were tracked in July 2021 with Converge guitarist Kurt Ballou at his GodCity Studio, while the vocals were recorded at home. The band also made the artwork and layout themselves.
3. They Covered Björk: The album includes a heavy, hazy take on Björk's "Enjoy," a song they first tacked onto the cassette reissue of their 2020 demo, the same demo that made "Linda Claire" an underground hit.
