Elvis Presley – Burning Love And Hits From His Movies

Year/Genre: 1972 Oldies
Matrix #: CAS-2595
Condition: Very good, no problems
Description: From Memphis, Tennessee, Elvis’s chart revival single “Burning Love” hit #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1972. In a rare move, RCA rushed its first U.S. LP appearance onto the budget Camden imprint, bundling it with 1960s movie cuts—evidence of how majors used low-priced racks to move huge volumes. The release marks the pivot from Elvis’s film era to his 1970s stage comeback and offers a snapshot of label-era marketing around one of his last big hits.
