Various – Different Strokes

1973, Funk

Matrix #: AS 12

Condition: Sounds great! Light scuffs on wax that do NOT affect playability.

Description: This obscure vinyl comp brought together deep funk cuts from lesser-known acts across the U.S., making it a hidden gem in the early ’70s rare groove movement. Though artist names blur into obscurity, the grooves channel the authentic horn stabs, wah-wah guitar, and tight rhythm sections that would later ignite DJ and crate-digger culture. This record captures a moment when grassroots funk was bubbling under the mainstream—a perfect find for collectors and diggers chasing that raw, unsung energy.
