Title: Stick Figure - World on Fire
Year/Genre/Sub-Genre/City: 2019, Reggae, Roots Reggae Dub, Duxbury, Massachusetts / San Diego, California 10/26
Condition: New (BC) | Members: Scott W (92' - ) | Producer: Scott Woodruff
Cultural Facts:

1. Literal One-Man Band: Scott Woodruff wrote, produced, sang and played every instrument himself on World on Fire. Stick Figure eventually became a full touring band, but in the studio Woodruff built the songs piece by piece almost entirely alone, continuing a process he had used since his earliest homemade records.
2. Green Day's Old Studio: Woodruff recorded the album at Great Stone Studios in Oakland, a studio formerly owned by Green Day. Stick Figure bought the space in 2017, meaning an independent reggae artist who started making records at home eventually ended up owning a historic studio used by artists including Green Day, Iggy Pop and Mos Def.
3. Cocoa the Tour Dog: Stick Figure's rescued Australian Shepherd Cocoa became a genuine member of the band's touring identity, regularly walking onstage and developing her own fan following. Cocoa even has a nonprofit charity and reportedly received a trophy connected to the band's one-day sellout of Red Rocks, which may make her one of the few dogs with an actual career milestone at one of America's most famous venues.
