Matrix #: FC 35600
Condition: VG+, sounds great, some very light marks (CC) | Members: Carlos S (47' - Alive)
Cultural Facts:
- Personal Struggle: Before success, Carlos Santana worked as a dishwasher in San Francisco while his father pushed him toward a safer career, forcing him to choose music without any guarantee it would pay off.
- Studio Lore: Inner Secrets pushed Santana toward a tighter late-70s rock sound, with shorter songs, polished production, and a muscular cover of Buddy Holly's “Well All Right.”
- Media Narrative: The album marked a deliberate move away from long jazz-fusion explorations toward radio-ready rock, showing Santana adapting without completely abandoning Latin percussion and Carlos's unmistakable guitar tone.
