Description: Early Yes grew out of a London group called Mabel Greer’s Toyshop. Guitarist Peter Banks suggested the new name “Yes” because it was short, optimistic, and popped on gig posters. This debut catches the band mid-evolution, stretching songs into long arrangements that hint at the prog sound they would soon define.
