  1. Band Drama This was the first Burritos studio album after Gram Parsons left, forcing the band to rebuild around Chris Hillman and new singer Rick Roberts.
  2. Personal Struggle Michael Clarke later struggled with alcohol-related health problems and died of liver failure in 1993, a sad ending for the former Byrds drummer.
  3. Scene Ecology The album sits right between The Byrds, Gram Parsons, and the Eagles, with Bernie Leadon soon carrying the Burritos’ country-rock DNA into a much larger commercial machine.
