Personal Struggle: White was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in the early 1990s and eventually stopped touring, though he continued guiding Earth, Wind & Fire creatively from behind the scenes.
Notable Track: “Fantasy” became one of the group’s signature songs, pairing Philip Bailey’s soaring falsetto with elaborate horn and string arrangements and the band’s spiritual, uplifting lyrical style.
