Title: The Linda Lindas - Gotta Get Out
Year/Genre/Sub-Genre/City: 2026, Punk, Pop Punk Garage Rock, Los Angeles, California 9/26
Condition: New, Purple/Pink Vinyl (BC) | Members: The Linda Lindas (N/A) | Producer: Carlos de la Garza
Cultural Facts:
- Actual Kids: The Linda Lindas began astonishingly young. Lucia and Mila de la Garza are sisters, Eloise Wong is their cousin, and Bela Salazar is their longtime friend. When the group first started playing together, the members ranged from elementary-school age to their early teens.
- Racist, Sexist Boy: One of their biggest early moments grew from something genuinely ugly. Mila said a boy at school told her his father had warned him to stay away from Chinese people. She and Eloise turned the incident into “Racist, Sexist Boy,” and a performance filmed inside the Los Angeles Public Library went viral around the world.
- Family Studio: Lucia and Mila’s father, Carlos de la Garza, is an established producer and engineer who has worked with major punk and alternative artists. Instead of the girls’ music existing separately from family life, recording has literally been part of the household, with their dad eventually producing their records while the band developed its own identity.

Title: Metallica – Ride the LightningYear/Genre: 1984, MetalCondition: New Cultural Facts: Written after the band’s gear was stolen in Boston in 1984, forcing them to borrow equipment and push through a rough early touring grind. The title and electric chair theme were inspired by a Stephen King novel the band passed around in their tour van.
