- Studio Innovation: Tony Visconti used the Eventide H910 Harmonizer on Dennis Davis’ drums, creating the huge, unnatural drum sound heard on tracks like “Sound and Vision,” years before that kind of processing became common in pop.
- Berlin Era: Although often called the first album of Bowie’s “Berlin Trilogy,” much of Low was actually recorded at Château d’Hérouville in France, with additional work completed at Hansa Studios in West Berlin.
