Second LP by Brooklyn Bridge, released on Buddah in 1969 at the tail end of the vocal-group era.
Frontman Johnny Maestro had previously scored with New York doo-wop group The Crests (“16 Candles”).
The band merged singers from The Del-Satins with Maestro and a horn rhythm section, built as a large showband for late-’60s stages.
Solid fit if you’re into The Crests, The Four Seasons, The Rascals, or other East Coast harmony pop.
