Description: Originally released in 1984, From Her to Eternity marked the debut of Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, formed in London after the dissolution of The Birthday Party. The album's title is a pun on the novel and film From Here to Eternity. Featuring contributions from Blixa Bargeld of Einstürzende Neubauten, the record blends post-punk, gothic rock, and experimental sounds. Notably, the title track was co-written with Anita Lane and was performed live in the 1987 film Wings of Desire.
